My my how time has flown! As of Sunday Mama will be 32 weeks along! We will get to hold you in 8-9 weeks time. I’m so looking forward to holding you my darling daughter.
Mama and I did our hospital tour last weekend and got to see where you will be born and have all our questions answered! We were both very impressed with the hospital and their policies. I’m very comfortable with our choice. Our birth doula, Tracy, will be there for every step of your birth. We are very fortunate to have her.
Mama’s doing amazing. You’ve been so active too! Sometimes that translates into you keeping mama up most of the night, but when she talks to you you calm down and rest. I hope that continues after you’re in our arms.
Mama’s baby shower is in a couple of weeks. We are both looking forward to having so many people who love and care about you already be there to celebrate your pending arrival. You are one lucky and very loved little girl already miss Ruby Rae. ❤
I've been stressing a little bit about this whole parenting thing, but Mama assures me that I will do just fine. Abba loves you sweetheart. With everything I am. I can't wait to hold you in my arms, but stay put for a bit longer okay?? We want our Halloween baby not a labor day baby.
Oh we also got some more cute clothes for you from your great grandmother! She's the one who bought your great carseat and stroller. I know that she too is very excited for your arrival and is already getting ready to spoil you this Christmas! 😉
All of my love always,

Well we have hit the 30 week mark! 🙂 Ruby is growing and almost never stops moving (very reassuring let me tell you!) We have made a rough draft of our birth plan, and have our hospital tour this Sunday! We are just under 10 weeks until our little Ruby arrives. This third trimester seems to have snuck up on us real fast. And now for a picture:
In other news, poor mama is suffering from an ear infection. 😦 She’s had her ear flushed out both at the clinic and at home and we are using ear drops to fight off the infection and the pain. Send healing vibes her way would ya? I hate seeing her in pain and ear pain is some of the worst!
Yesterday (the 19th) also marks three years since our first “I do”. We had a hand fasting ceremony in front of family and friends. I can’t believe it has flown by so fast! It truly seems like it wasn’t that long ago.
I started work at a temp agency today, and it was just my luck that I tweaked my back. -_- Yep! That’s me! *sigh* SO I shall be seeing the doctor tomorrow if I’m still in pain (judging by the pain I’m in tonight and the pop I felt when it happened, I will be). At least it will be on the companies dime and not mine. Definitely not ideal, I’d of course rather NOT have gotten hurt and be able to go back to work as scheduled Friday and Saturday. *sigh*
We have officially made it to the 29 week mark and Ruby is growing and growing!
We have our next appointment on Friday, and we are in full blown prep for our Baby shower in September! It all seems to be flying by right now! I wish it would slow down just a tiny bit though. I’m not sure if I’m ready for it to end, and I’m not even the pregnant one.
In other news after leaving my job at Securitas I am in full blown job searching mode. Hoping the background check comes back quickly from Toys R Us and I can start there soon OR that I’ll be hired on at Cotton Babies. For now I’m working on unemployment. Some days are harder than others but we are managing. Well that’s all for now.
