Well, IUI may be in our future. Considering it will cost us around $3,000 for the initial paperwork, testing etc for using our donor as a directed donor.

Any advice?

11 DPO

Well my wife has hit 11 dpo. Possible symptoms include:

  • Tender Breasts
  • VERY sensitive nipples – even the slightest brush causes pain and stinging
  • High amount of fatigue
  • Some nausea – but we’ve written that one off for now

Her temps are still well above cover line, as you can see by her attached chart. We aren’t getting excited yet, we’ve been in this rodeo before. This is the first Famera cycle so it could all be because of how it pushed her progesterone level to a 17! Which by the way was fantastic news this week. Hopefully by Monday we will have a wonderful surprise!

It’s a good word. It pretty much describes me lately. I have been flying off the handle more times in the last couple of weeks then is really called for. I know that I’m out of whack with my medication.

I  had labs drawn this morning and my Lithium level looks great, kidney, liver all good. My thyroid (tsh) went from a 3.56 to a 5.22 in just about 3 months. To me that seems to be a bit of a jump, but I’m waiting to hear back from my psych. To be honest I am a little bit nervous.

In TTC news, we are one week into our TWW. This is try 19 and is the first on Femara for the Mrs. No major side effects (at least not compared to the Clomid). I think the Mrs is convinced it’s not working due to the no outward side effects. She had her lab drawn today to check her Progesterone. Still waiting on the results. Hopefully tomorrow. Her chart is a tad wonky but she missed some temps in there.

Guess we get to wait and see. I am so hoping this is our month, that we get a sticky bean, and that sticky bean turns into a beautiful healthy baby. I want to be holding my little bug this fall. This Abba is more than ready!

Hello 2014

Well, here we are at the beginning of another year. I feel like 2013 just flew by! I don’t particularly hold stock in “New Years Resolutions” but I have a few goals in mind for the year. The biggest one being to start a health plan.

I really need to get on a health plan that will allow me to gain at least 10-20 pounds. I think by doing this I will start to not only feel better, but feel better about myself (that is the hope anyway) and maybe it will really help me get my mental health into a better state.

In TTC news we are on try 19. In the tww only a few days past ovulation. First cycle with femara. Wish us luck!!

Any goals or resolutions for you this year?
